JAMES B. ROBERTSON – FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
James entered the aviation industry and discovered his niche in business development, aircraft sales, management, relationship building, and a deep mechanical aptitude. As a previous business owner and a third generation Fort Worth native, he envisioned and founded Fort Worth Jet & Associates, LLC in order to best serve his clients and further define his personal approach to aircraft sales and acquisitions. James’s approach to business is rooted in his Christian faith, you can count on him professionally and personally.
Having grown up near DFW Airport, James remained in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to obtain his Bachelor of Science from Dallas Baptist University. James is a licensed FAA Airframe and Powerplant mechanic and completed Tarrant County’s Aviation Maintenance FAA approved -147 Program, a rigorous 1900-hour program. He earned his Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance Technology Degree as one part of his journey to be a life-long learner. James’s aviation education paired with his industry experience and strong ethics give him a competitive edge in aircraft sales and client trust. James is also and an active member at Nate Able Flying Club at Hicks Airfield in Fort Worth.
His experience in aircraft sales includes working with Fortune 50 companies like Dow Chemical and high net worth individuals. James has successfully completed transactions for clients from across the globe and has imported and exported airplanes for clients from around the world. He has a proven track record for exceptional service and communication and works diligently to expand his knowledge of all things aircraft related.
His goal for Fort Worth Jet & Associates, LLC is to exceed client expectations through employment of his honest work ethic, extensive knowledge base, and vast industry network. The founding of Fort Worth Jet & Associates, LLC represents a new era of opportunity for him within the industry. James is a member National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA) and also an active member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) Chapter 11 in Dallas-Fort Worth with a discipline in Machinery & Technical Specialties.
Aside from his passion for aviation, James enjoys spending time outdoors, fitness, riding motocross and spending time with family and friends. He is an active member at Irving Bible Church. We invite you to join us while you are in town.
